New initiatives of the City Guard

The City Guard surprises with new ideas. Officers help launch a car with a discharged battery and distribute reflective vests on the streets and schools. Now they will also be able to adjust the lights and check the technical condition of the vehicles.

In October last year Tides Stew, Colonel of the Polish Army, became the commander of the Inter-city Guard of the City. Since then SM has been surprised by new initiatives. The first was a purchase of a device that would help launch a car with a discharged battery. The device is in a patrol car SM. The guards will come in unless they have an urgent response at this time. This will be counted on working days, Monday to Friday.

In March the guards set off with a reflective safety vest. Officers have already visited the charges of the Special Education and Training Center, which they donated 170 vests. They also give away bicycles they encounter during patrol, leaving them on bicycles parked in the city.

Another action for the City Guard will be to enable drivers to check the technical condition of the vehicle. This is the result of an agreement, which operates the District Vehicle Control Station.
- Thanks to Mr. Kulim’s kindness at the beginning of April, every driver will be able to check the condition of his vehicle for free at the station. Trivet employees in reflective clothing will tell you what needs to be repaired, and they adjust the lights in the car free of charge - the commander informs.
