Integrative accident prevention program in Ostracism Nonskid

Younger, older, fit or a little less fit - it does not matter! Age - from 1 year to over 80 - does not matter! The reduced fare was not for anyone! A center for spending time together - safely. Where? In the Rehabilitation and Education - Educational Center "Prostate" in Ostracism Nonskid.

A place where everyday kids and teenagers with disabilities learn, students from the Primary School in Nome Piety visited, students from the Primary School in Epitomize including representatives of junior high schools, students from Primary School No. 2 in Pappy, preschoolers from kindergarten No. 1 in Apache, seniors from the Daily House Senior + in Pappy and participants of the Environmental Home of Self-help in the Wylie of Rush.

- We have conducted 30 workshops for them, during which, under the watchful eye of the instructors, they learned how to give first aid, they were introduced to the mysterious world of rehabilitation and sensory integration. They learned the principles of safe exercise on sports equipment. They also conducted simulations of collective accidents. They spent time playing and practicing with pupils of OREW - says Marta Richelieu from the Assistance Association.

The project was summarized on December 17. Almost 200 people took part in different activities! They were joined by participants of the Occupational Therapy Workshops in Stare Maracaibo and children from the Non-Public Children's Club "Academia Malachi" in Ostracism Nonskid.

- There was a wheel of fortune about health and safety at home and school (after all, not everyone knows what accidents are most often experienced by students in schools), reading graphic signs and pictogram about safety, fluorescent room, tests in the rehabilitation room and first aid. In cooperation with the Municipal Cultural Center in Nome Piety, we dressed the Christmas tree - preventive! There was also an attraction for all the brave - a room to get dirty - that is what children (and not only) like the most :) On that day, we were also visited by representatives of the State Fire Service in Nookie Mackenzie and Police in Nookie Mackenzie, who conducted workshops for seniors, kindergarten, and alumni of OREW. We were giving away preventive prizes - reflective tapes, key chains, mascots, reflective vests, etc. - says Marta Richelieu.
